Introducing our magnificent collection of Grand Louis Style Bespoke Handmade Burr Walnut Marquetry Dining Tables, inspired by the splendour and elegance of classical French furniture.
These truly spectacular dining tables combine beautifully figured Burr Walnut veneers, elaborate floral marquetry, magnificent ornamental carving and extraordinary sculptural pedestal bases.
Designed to create an unforgettable centrepiece, these exceptional tables represent the grandeur, beauty and sophistication of traditional luxury furniture.
Magnificent Ornately Hand-Carved Pedestal Bases
Perhaps the most striking feature of these extraordinary tables is their magnificent, elaborately carved pedestal bases.
Each substantial pedestal features an imposing central column, decorated with deeply carved acanthus foliage, intricate classical ornamentation and beautifully detailed mouldings.
Spectacular sweeping scroll supports extend from the columns, complemented by magnificent outward-curving feet with elaborate carved volutes and ornamental detailing.
The extraordinary craftsmanship continues throughout the entire pedestal construction, creating an impressive architectural appearance from every viewing angle.
These are not merely table supports; they are magnificent sculptural features in their own right.
Exquisite Burr Walnut Marquetry & Ornamental Carving
The spectacular tabletops showcase beautifully figured Burr Walnut veneers, carefully arranged to highlight the natural movement, character and richness of the timber.
Intricate contrasting marquetry creates magnificent symmetrical floral centrepieces, delicate scrolling foliage and beautifully detailed decorative borders.
The tabletops are further enhanced by substantial, deeply carved ornamental aprons, featuring continuous classical floral and scrolling designs around the entire perimeter.
The combination of exquisite marquetry, richly figured Walnut and elaborate carving produces an exceptionally impressive piece of furniture.

Understanding Burr & Marquetry
Burr Wood
Burr is the rare swirling figure found in walnut, mahogany, oak and yew — particularly at the base of the tree or within rare growth formations where hundreds of tiny branches emerge.
It is considered:
• The most decorative part of the tree
• The most expensive part of the tree
• Highly sought after for luxury furniture
Its natural movement and depth create extraordinary visual richness when polished.
Marquetry
Marquetry is the decorative art of inserting pieces of contrasting materials — such as wood, mother of pearl, brass, pewter or shell — into a surface veneer to form intricate patterns.
Each tabletop features:
• Hand-cut inlays
• Decorative swags and classical motifs
• Balanced symmetry
• Precision craftsmanship
