A truly magnificent, world-class Elite bespoke handcrafted Grand Regency style dining table of exceptional scale, architectural presence and refined craftsmanship.

This statement piece is constructed in spectacular flame (crotch-cut) mahogany, framed with elegant satinwood crossbanding, and raised on three beautifully proportioned pedestal bases with brass castors.

The Timber – Flame (Crotch-Cut) Mahogany

“Flame” mahogany — also known as crotch-cut mahogany — is cut from the junction where a major limb meets the trunk of the tree. This rare cut produces the dramatic flame-like figuring visible across the entire surface.

Because only a small portion of any tree yields this figure, it is one of the most expensive and desirable cuts in fine furniture making.

The result is extraordinary movement within the grain — flowing ribbons of deep mahogany, amber and honey tones that appear almost three-dimensional under light.

No two tops are ever identical.

Crafted by highly skilled cabinet makers using traditional joinery techniques, this impressive dining table features:

• Rectangular top with elegant rounded ends

• Satinwood inlaid crossbanded border

• Reeded edge detailing

• Two substantial turned pedestal bases

• Each pedestal raised on four down-swept legs

• Brass capped feet with original style castors

• Two extension leaves

• Brass table clips for secure alignment

The triple pedestal construction ensures exceptional structural integrity and balance at full extension.

At maximum length, the table comfortably seats 12 guests, making it ideal for formal dining rooms, executive boardrooms, country estates or luxury developments.

 

Professional French Polished Finish

This table has been traditionally hand French polished in a rich, natural warm mahogany tone to enhance the dramatic figuring of the flame cut timber.

We use only the finest modern table-top French polishing systems, providing:

• Enhanced durability

• Improved heat resistance

• Hard-wearing protective finish

• The ability to refresh and maintain over time

French polishing remains the most prestigious finish available in fine furniture. The depth, clarity and opulence achieved cannot be replicated by modern sprayed lacquers.

The table is presented in fully finished, showroom-ready condition.
