The Finish – Farrow’s Cream

The plinth and base have been professionally finished in Farrow’s Cream, a traditional and elegant shade originally created by paint pioneers John Farrow and Richard Ball in Dorset, England.

This warm, inviting colour contains no added black pigment, giving it a soft traditional tone that works beautifully in both historic interiors and contemporary homes.

Combined with the natural mahogany top, it creates a striking yet refined contrast, giving the piece a distinctive modern twist while maintaining its classical heritage.

The Wood – Flame Mahogany With Inlay

The tabletop is crafted from spectacular flame mahogany, displaying beautiful natural movement and deep warm tones.

This has been further enhanced with fine Rosewood and Saturn inlay decoration, including elegant hand-cut detailing which frames the table beautifully.

The tabletop has been professionally French polished using the finest modern heat-resistant clear finishing polish, preserving the natural beauty of the wood while giving the surface a deep lustrous shine.

The result is a finish that is both luxurious and durable, designed to maintain its beauty for many years.

Exquisite Craftsmanship

This table showcases the traditional decorative art of marquetry, where fine pieces of wood veneer are expertly inserted into the surface to create elegant decorative patterns.

The inlaid decoration includes refined classical motifs such as swags and ribbon designs, enhancing both the natural grain of the timber and the regal appearance of the piece.

Flame mahogany and burr woods are among the most prized materials in fine furniture making, often taken from the rare growths within a tree where the grain forms spectacular swirling patterns.

This particular table measures 10.4 ft in length, however we specialise in bespoke handmade dining tables and can produce tables in any size required — up to 20 ft or more.

Delivery In England in Wales is around £100, Scotland is generally more depending on the destination. We can deliver our items all over the world too, it’s usually about £1000 internationally and to the US and Asia and about £500 to destinations in Europe.
