Finishes & Polishing

  • French Polishing – Still regarded as the world’s finest finish, producing a deep lustrous shine, unique depth, and luxurious feel. Modern French polishes also offer durability, resilience, and a degree of heat resistance. They can be repaired and refreshed over time, unlike lacquer finishes.
  • Modern Lacquer Finishes – We also offer professional AC two-pack lacquer finishes in clear or any Farrow & Ball colour. This is an environmentally safe, highly durable finish — far superior to basic painted methods that chip and flake easily.
  • Avoid Oil Finishes – We strongly advise against oil finishes on tabletops, as they offer insufficient protection and are prone to rapid wear. Many of our clients approach us to restore oil-finished tables.

Upholstery & Chair Options

This table is available with or without dining chairs. We can supply matching or complementary chairs in a variety of designs, finishes, and upholstery.
