This opulent hexagonal dining table is veneered in stunning flame (crotch-cut) mahogany laid in a dramatic radial sunburst formation, framed in rich rosewood tones and finished with bold gilt Empire detailing.

The Beauty of Flame Mahogany
Flame (crotch-cut) mahogany is produced from the junction where a major limb meets the trunk of the tree. This rare cut produces the dramatic, flowing flame patterns seen across the tabletop.
Because only a small section of any tree can yield this material, it is significantly more valuable and highly sought after.
The radial sunburst layout amplifies the natural movement of the timber, creating depth and light reflection that shifts beautifully as you move around the table.
No two pieces are ever identical.
Professional French Polished Finish
The table has been traditionally hand French polished in a natural warm rosewood and mahogany tone to enhance the dramatic figuring of the veneer.
We use only the finest modern table-top French polishing systems, which now provide:

• Improved heat resistance
• Hard-wearing protective surface
• Ability to refresh and maintain over time
French polishing remains the gold standard in fine furniture finishing. The depth, clarity and richness achieved cannot be replicated by sprayed lacquer systems.

French polish remains our recommended finish for table tops due to its superior depth and repairability.
