Design & Construction
Crafted by highly skilled cabinet makers using traditional joinery techniques, this impressive dining table features:
• A sweeping oval / rounded-end rectangular top
• Exquisite Burr Walnut veneer with rich swirling figuring
• A decorative carved frieze with classical gilt detailing
• Elegant fluted legs with carved capitals
• A shaped stretcher base with central carved medallion
• Precision-fitted extension leaves
• Traditional brass table clips for secure alignment
The proportions are harmonious and architectural, offering both grandeur and comfort.
At full extension, the table comfortably seats 12 guests, making it ideal for formal dining rooms, executive interiors, luxury properties or statement kitchen-dining spaces.
The Beauty of Burr Walnut
Burr Walnut is celebrated for its dramatic swirling, cloud-like figuring — created through rare natural growth formations within the tree.
Each surface is entirely unique.
When hand French polished, the Burr Walnut reveals extraordinary depth and movement — tones of warm honey, amber and golden walnut that shift beautifully under light.
The grain pattern flows elegantly across the top, framed by a subtle border that enhances the classical form.

Professional French Polished Finish
This table has been traditionally hand French polished in a rich, natural Burr Walnut tone to enhance the dramatic figuring of the timber.
We use only the finest modern table-top French polishing systems, which now provide:
